For LinkedIn-only outreach, Waalaxy is the cheaper and simpler choice: $19 a user a month on monthly billing, or $16 billed yearly, for 300 invitations a month. lemlist makes sense when email is your main channel and LinkedIn is one step in a multichannel sequence. Its LinkedIn automation sits on the Multichannel plan at $109 a user a month, or $87 billed yearly. If you send LinkedIn invitations and messages and little else, you would pay lemlist for an email platform you don't use.

What a three-person team pays

Three SDRs who each run one LinkedIn account, billed yearly:

  • Waalaxy Advanced: 3 × $32 = $96 a month, 800 invitations each.
  • Waalaxy Business (if they also send cold email from Waalaxy): 3 × $55 = $165 a month.
  • lemlist Multichannel: 3 × $87 = $261 a month, with email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence.

The gap shrinks if the team would otherwise pay for a separate cold email tool next to Waalaxy. If you run a single account and only need LinkedIn, our list of cheap HeyReach alternatives for solo outreach compares Waalaxy with Linked Helper and other low-cost tools.

LinkedIn automation compared

Waalaxy was built around LinkedIn. Campaigns chain profile visits, invitations, messages and follow-ups, and run on a schedule in the cloud. Since July 1, 2026, Waalaxy has run fully in the cloud: it pulled its Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store, and campaigns keep running with your computer off. Some comparison pages still say Waalaxy needs a Chrome tab open, including lemlist's own comparison. That stopped being true in July.

lemlist treats LinkedIn as one channel inside a sequence. A single campaign can visit a profile, send an invitation, send an email if the invitation isn't accepted, then send a LinkedIn voice note or text message. That conditional mixing of email and LinkedIn is lemlist's main advantage.

Both tools act through your real LinkedIn account, so LinkedIn's weekly invitation cap still applies whichever you choose. It runs roughly 100 to 200 a week depending on the account, which caps how much of Waalaxy's 800 a month you can safely use. Our guide on how many connection requests you can send a day has a safe daily plan. If an account has been restricted before, read why LinkedIn keeps restricting your account first. For the settings that matter more than the tool, see which LinkedIn automation tools don't get you restricted.

Email compared

lemlist is the stronger email tool by a wide margin. Every plan includes warmup, inbox rotation, sending limits, custom tracking domains, deliverability alerts and an unsubscribe link. Waalaxy only adds cold email on Business, and it is a lighter feature set built to support LinkedIn sequences. Teams that send most of their volume by email usually pair Waalaxy with a dedicated sender or choose lemlist.

Which one to pick

  • Founders and solo sellers doing LinkedIn outreach: Waalaxy Pro or Advanced.
  • SDR teams whose main channel is LinkedIn, with some email: Waalaxy Business, or Waalaxy Advanced plus a separate cold email tool.
  • Teams whose main channel is email, with LinkedIn as a supporting touch: lemlist Multichannel.
  • Teams that also need a lead database and phone numbers: lemlist, with its data add-on.
  • Agencies running many client LinkedIn accounts: neither is built for that. Compare multi-account tools such as HeyReach, which charges per sender. Our HeyReach pricing breakdown shows where it gets cheaper.

What decides your results on either tool

Both tools send the same kinds of invitations and messages, so neither decides your acceptance rate. Prospects open the sender's profile and recent posts before accepting, and a profile that shows clear expertise gets more accepts and replies from the same message. If you want that profile and content built for your senders, that is what KomsGro's B2B LinkedIn content creation agency does.
