Peec AI is the easier buy: $95 to $495 a month with published limits, unlimited users and daily tracking. Profound is the deeper platform for content and PR teams, but its pricing page lists only a free 7-day trial and custom Enterprise pricing, so there is no number to approve without a sales call.

Facts below come from peec.ai and tryprofound.com, checked on 6 November 2026.

What each one measures

Peec AI tracks a prompt set across AI engines and reports visibility, position, sentiment, share of voice and citation share. Around that it adds prompt volume scores, brand perception attributes, the objections AI raises against you, SKU-level AI shopping data, a crawlability audit across 40+ bots and AI referral traffic.

Profound tracks the same core signals under different names: Answer Engine Insights for mentions and position, Agent Analytics for bot views, citations and referrals, plus ChatGPT Shopping, FactCheck and Sentiment. Its Prompt Volumes feature draws on what Profound describes as billions of real user conversations. Peec AI's equivalent is a prompt volume score from 1 to 5.

Neither tool reports revenue. Both track AI referral traffic, and both leave the attribution work to you.

Peec AI Pro$245/month3 active of 61502 projects, unlimited users
Peec AI Advanced$495/month3 active of 63505 projects, unlimited users

Peec AI's published numbers let you size a plan in a spreadsheet. Pro at $245 is 150 prompts across 3 models for 30 days, which the pricing page puts at 13,500 answers a month. Advanced adds multi-country tracking and a Looker Studio connector for $495.

Profound publishes no paid tier, no prompt volume and no seat price. Enterprise includes custom prompts, daily frequency, custom languages and regions, all-time history, CSV and JSON exports, API access, SSO/SAML and SOC 2, on an annual contract. Budget approval needs a call, and the comparison stops being about price and becomes about scope.

Engines tracked

Peec AI self-serve plans run 3 active models chosen from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Each extra model costs $30 a month on Starter, $70 on Pro and $140 on Advanced. Perplexity, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen and Mistral appear on the Enterprise plan or as add-ons, and Enterprise allows up to 13 models.

Profound's trial covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Enterprise covers up to 9 engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews, Exa Search and Muse Spark.

At a self-serve price, Peec AI is the only one of the two you can buy, and you can add models to it. Inside one contract, Profound includes the engines rather than selling them one at a time.

The action layer

Profound's pitch is output. Its AI Marketer rewrites pages with citation decay, drafts content and stages work for approval, and its agents run recurring marketing jobs. The customer stories on the site measure that work: Plaid at a 50% increase in AI search visibility, MongoDB at 30% time saved, Ramp at 7x brand visibility on a key topic. Profound also says a third of the Fortune 100 use the platform, which tells you who the product is built for.

Peec AI's action layer is narrower. It ranks recommended actions by earned and owned, runs gap analysis on sources that name competitors but not you, and ships an agent that answers questions about your data. It shows where the hole is. Profound also tries to fill it.

That difference decides most deals. If your team has writers and a CMS, Profound's drafting saves real hours. If your team has a strategist and a client deadline, Peec AI's reporting is the deliverable.

What the Reddit thread said

The r/GEO__AI__SEO thread asking this exact question drew one comment and no substantive reply, so it adds little to the decision. The questions that recur in that subreddit are more useful: show the actual answer text behind a score for the same question, country and language; report mentions separately from links to your own site; and stop charging per engine.

Profound folds engines into the Enterprise contract instead of selling them one at a time. Peec AI charges $30 to $140 a month for each extra model on a self-serve plan. Ask for a sample export during the trial and check that answer text is included, since neither pricing page shows it.

Which one to pick

  • Peec AI, $95 to $495. An in-house SEO team or agency that needs a published price this quarter, multiple projects and dashboards a client can read.
  • Peec AI agency plans, $245 to $795. Three to 25 client projects, pitch workspaces for prospects, consolidated billing.
  • Profound Enterprise. A content, PR and social team with an annual budget, a need for agents and traffic attribution, and a security review that expects SSO and SOC 2.
  • Neither. A five-person team that only wants to know whether it gets mentioned should look at OtterlyAI at $29 or Peec AI Starter before signing an enterprise contract.

The dashboard decides how fast you see the gap. Closing it takes pages, citations and outreach to the sources AI engines read. A B2B AI SEO agency runs that work end to end and reports into whichever tool you already pay for.
